How about sitting down with them in front of a computer and running the net price calculators for some colleges? When the net price comes up, ask them if they are comfortable with that price, without compromising their retirement savings, younger siblings’ college money, etc…
@ucbalumnus Yeah, that’s what I was thinking, they might just say “don’t worry about it” but I’ll give it a shot
