International Relations

Collegebound1516…My daugther is a junior Johnson. Her interests are similar to yours. She chose to to go the PolSci/econ route with a focus on South America. She has spent a good deal of time in SA.

This summer she has been offered a State Department Internship in SA.

Her thinking is that her W&L education is teaching her to think and to communicate well. She has plans to further her education at one of the well known international relations grad programs. I don’t think she is worried that her undergrad degree is not an IR degree.

W&L has so much more to offer than one specific major.

There’s a Global Politics major (Politics major with a Global focus) that’d be great for that. It kind of takes the place of the international affairs degree.
