Not taking a science class in my Junior year hurt my chances?

Hello CC, I just started my Junior year at my high school this past Tuesday.

Here is what my schedule is.

Pre-Calculus Honors
Spanish 3
Statistics AP
Computer Applications
English 3 AP
US History AP

As you can see, I'm taking two (2) math classes, Pre-Calculus and Statistics, and there is the notable absence of a science class.

To cut a long story short, let's just say I decided last year that I didn't want to have anything to do with anything scientific in my career, so I decided I didn't want to be taking these scientific AP classes like I had originally planned. I was going to take a standard prep science course this year, but what with all these other AP classes in my courses I thought I might give myself an easy class where I could cool off, and not have to deal with even more homework (even if it is easier prep homework).

Taking this Computers class kills off the computers graduation requirement at my school and I should note that there is a test that one can take in their Junior year and beyond in order to forgo taking the class.

Choosing Computers over the prep science course I was going to originally take meant replacing a "A-G" class with an irrelevant non-College Prep elective.

I am all too aware that junior year is the biggest and most important year for a high school student who's looking at a four-year college, and I want to know if the absence of a science class this year will hurt me badly, if at all, as as of now I'm looking at UCs, and potentially, the Claremont Colleges.

I thank you all beforehand, and any advice at all is appreciated. :)

A-G requirement states “2 years required, 3 years recommended”. It also doesn’t say consecutive years. You can probably take one or two science classes senior year.

I feel you about the grad req’s man. I had to do health over the summer and a semester of woodshop for the rising junior year.
