Hey guys,
Im a senior this year and I have an upcoming AP test that Im deciding not to take it since my college gives no credit for it anyways (can I get a refund?). Question is- will I get rescinded for not taking the exam? I've been getting 5s on consistently and if i can get my money back I dont see why waste it...thanks

it depends if you did imply on your uni application that you will be writing this exam. A counselor told me that if we change anything in our college app, we have to write a letter to the uni to explain a reason why we did not follow the set plan–as we said in the app.

Colleges generally don’t care if you say in your application you’ll take an AP test but don’t actually do so. For UCs this is true but I can’t say the same for your university.

It probably doesn’t matter, but you can’t get your money back now so just take it. You never know what will come your way so it might be nice to have a 5 in your back pocket. Most likely, you’ll never need it but since you aren’t getting your money back and you’re getting fives I would recommend just taking it.
