<p>You definitely want a backup in case you dont want to take a certain class</p>
<p>I think a solid Calc BC score converted into Michigan Calc II credit is sufficient to satisfy the math requirement at any med school. Don’t quote me on it, but this is what I remember from meetings with a pre-health advisor. Certainly worth checking though.</p>
<p>I guess if you already know your classes might not be up to snuff, then it’s more reasonable to take it easy. But it’s definitely safer to have a backup, and it’s not terribly difficult to drop an advanced class and pick up an intro class in the first few weeks of the semester.</p>
