Not taking spring courses.

I currently have exactly 100 units, 48 from a 4-year university and the last 52 from a CCC. I am applying to UCI and UCD, and fortunately neither enforces a maximum unit cap for transfers. Last year I was accepted to UCI but couldn't attend, and have a better GPA now.

My question is, since I have satisfied all of my pre-reqs last year, would it negatively affect my chances of admission if I didn't take spring courses? I can explain that I am not taking courses in order to be able to work more hours, which I actually need to do since I will be most likely moving to Irvine and need to start saving, and I can also include that I am planning on taking summer courses at UCI.

Just wondering if doing this will affect my chances, any one know for sure?

No it shouldn’t because you have enough units. if you have igetc or all your ge done then it should help you more good luck
