<p>Hey there, I just SIRed to UCSC after being rejected from every other UC (with the exception of SB). I’m an Asian Indian and I come from a Bay Area school that has TONS of Asian Indians as well. How predominant are Asian Indians at UCSC? I know there aren’t a lot, but is it possible to see at least a few of them around? I signed up for College 9/College 10 cuz I know that those college have most of the Asians so I’m hoping that there’ll be Asian Indians in there as well. Thanks for your info!</p>

<p>I found 9/10 to be pretty diverse. There’s definitely a good amount of Asians there, but I thought each race was well-represented.</p>

Fellow desi here, excited to go to UCSC in the fall 2012.
I really hope to make more desi friends out there. The high school I currently attend is predominantly Filipino/Chinese.</p>
