<p>Well, I know it's become more garden variety these days, but if someone offers you a chance to volunteer overseas, do it.</p>

<p>I don't know if that in and of itself will get you in, per se, but I'm sure you can write a great essay about it.</p>

<p>valid point archer, id say if you wrote an extremely well written essay about how your not to interested in attending harvard, then the adcom would think hard about youre application before throwing it in theyre autoreject pile...good, its a well idea i think</p>
