Okay so every category of my application is good, except for my rank... What can i do!?

RANK: 137/957 (top 14%)

How important is it? (I'm in state btw)

Other Info:

Weighted: 4.0
UW: ~3.55

ACT: 33

Lots of extra currics and leader positions
Lots of work exp
very rigorous course load

Go ahead and apply, the top 10% rule is pretty much out of the picture now so you’ve got a decent shot.

I got into the architecture school (dual program with engineering and architecture) last year WITH the top 10 rule with almost exactly the same stats you have.

The 10% rule still applies this year, right?? The change takes effect next year.

Yes, the top 10% rule is still in effect for the HS class of 2010. It changes with the HS class of 2011.

Comiclover, what exactly were your high school stats that you applied with? I also want to get into the architecture school. I have a rank of 40 (10%) and an UW GPA of 3.68. My SATs were about 650 each.
