Not top schools in CS and my list of universities

@bambi0611, it is the same in Vietnam where I am from. Tbh, I don’t have super rich parents who can afford four years of $65,000 per year. Thus, I relied heavily on financial aid from the schools. However, my parents tried to raise me in the milieu which would facilitate my future app process. They spent a fcuk lot of money on me already. I guess that is why they were on cloud nine when I received my early acceptance.

WOW!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! Getting admitted to Princeton is an exceptional achievement! And since their financial aid packages are among the best in the US, I’m sure the school is affordable - perhaps even cheaper than if you attended a university that you can’t commute to.
(On the other hand, your achievements are exceptional so Princeton would have been sorry to let you go.)
I hope you DO vcreate one of those threads “admitted to Princeton, MIT, Caltech… where to go?” It’ll warm the hearts of blended kids and international kids everywhere.

@MYOS1634, I will create one as I receive all decisions. I would love to answer questions of other international applicants bc college confidential answers primarily help US applicants rather than international ones imo.

Post in the international section, in that case and a big congrats.

@BrownParent, thanks. Sure, I’ll do so.
