Not viewing decision online

I'm not sure... I can ask my friend, but I'm pretty sure his letter came with a key chain.... I don't think it would fit in a small envelope. =)

Unless something has changed, an acceptance comes in a large envelope with a certificate and other paperwork. The acceptance letter is a replica of the one that you get online.

I think it's a question of early vs RD. My daughter's early acceptance came in a thin evenlope, and a bunch of stuff later. But that was 2 years ago.

I don'e care about the ****in "movie moment". I'm getting screwed by thinking about my decision and I want it as soon as possible!

the RD envelope isn't just big, it's huge. If I remember correctly, it came in an express mail envelope and was full to the brim with paperwork and Harvard propaganda.

Alright then, let's all pray for the giant envelope.

haha, I'm the opposite of the OP...I asked Harvard to email me my decision, but now I think I want the "movie moment"

Although when i see that email it will be awfully hard not to open it, so i might give in...

Yeah, I've had the same sentiment as you, luna. The movie moment would be kind of cool. But then I realized that my mother would probably open my letter before I got home from school, anyway, so email it is.

I feel the same.
But then again, I am an international so it might be just really long till the decision reaches me, so I think I'll end up rushing to inbox.

I would be SO mad if either of my parents opened my letter....

The letters should arrive at my house during spring break. That means I have all the time in the world to wait and lose my mind. The drama of mailed acceptance sucks if you get rejected.

I'm totally considering waiting until all 10 of my letters (actually, 8 because I've heard from some) come in, stacking 'em up on the dining room table, and then tearing them all open and going crazy. :)
