<p>Well, besides the misspelling in the title, this chances thread is a bit different since I'm asking for my friend's chances, not mine, and he's a transfer, not a high school student.</p>

<p>My friend is planning on transferring out of Pace University in NYC and wants to know his chances at some schools. He wants to do Poli Sci/Pre-Law.</p>

<p>His schools:</p>

<p>NYU (CAS)
Columbia
Fordham
Villanova
Farifield</p>

<p>His stats:</p>

<p>SAT: 2090 (720 M, 670 CR, 700 WR)
SAT II: Math II: 690, French: 760
College GPA: 3.8 at Pace University in NYC.
He says he's involved in several clubs at Pace and is in the school's Honors Program
He also took a summer Microeconomics course at NYU last year and did pretty well (got an A-) if that helps at all</p>

<p>What are his chances, anyone?</p>

<p>I can tell you hes in for sure at Villanova.</p>

<p>I agree with the above posts. It would be interesting, however, to see the results if your friend applied to an elite school in the West, such as Stanford, Pomona or Claremont McKenna College.</p>
