I really want to go to UChicago, but my parents are forcing me to apply to Brown and Dartmouth. I also applied to Vassar, but I’m not really sure why, because I’d rather go to UChicago.
I also want to wait to see what happens with MIT.

do they not want you to go to Chicago? or do they just want you to apply other places for the sake of applying?

Would you go to Brown or Dartmouth if you got in though?

No, they don’t want me to go to UChicago. They think it’s too far. Hmph.
Eh… I don’t know. I might consider Dartmouth, but I don’t think that I would go to Brown.

You should’ve applied to Stanford.

Better yet, Oxford.

I think I prefer Cambridge more than Oxford.

I hate that you can only apply to one.

really? you mean you can’t apply to both Cambridge and Oxford? o_O!

Yeah. It’s really stupid. I’m not sure if that only applies to British citizens, but I’m sure that they’re only allowed one or the other. It might be an effort to ease competition between the two. I don’t know.

The system there is ridiculous. You have to be able to decide if you’ll be a doctor or a lawyer or whatever as soon as you enter university. You go directly to med school, etc.

that’s actually something i like…

Yeah, it’s good for some people, but not for others. It depends.

It’s still really difficult to get in.

I read something in Princeton’s newspaper about how one of the students did a study abroad thing in Oxford, or something like that. He said that you have less hours of actual classes but way more work.

I would have liked to apply to foreign universities…:(

yeah, me too…

I’m already excited for my study abroad year!

where are you thinking of going for study abroad?

TVA idk…as for me, NYU.. :)

I heard bad stuffs abt NYU!

what’s bad about NYU??? I need to figure out if i can even do study abroad :(

well, you know, bad as in terms of hostility and friends…that’s pretty much it..not bad in quality of education or anything like that of course!

anything is better than alexU :p
