Note-taking software?

Hi everyone!
I noticed that many students in college seem to use a Mac note-taking software instead of the regular Word Office to take notes during class. Basically they seem to write on vritual yellow notebook sheets and they can also add divider tabs to their ''notebook''. Anyone knows what is the name of this software?

um… NOTEPAD?

What’s wrong with Word?

I’ve seen people use OneNote. I don’t think its what you’re talking about but they feel it has less annoyances than word when you’re attempting to type as fast as possible (less grammar and spelling error warnings or format problems). They copy and paste the notes into Word to format correctly and print them out as study guides.

I think I’ve seen this too. Next time you see it just axe the person what the software is (and then tell us!!!).

The program is called a pencil and paper. You can purchase it at any corner store for no more than $2.

OneNote does that. In fact, OneNote is set up to be like many mini-notebooks. Also, I know people who have that sort of setup just using Word. No big deal.
