My daughter and I visited uTampa after she was accepted. Here are some of the things we learned.

Nice campus - buildings look good inside and out

If a student takes at least five honors courses and has a 3.5 GPA then they graduate with her honors
Four designated floors in dorms for honors students if they want to live with other honors students
Variety of honors courses - as an example, 28 offered this semester
Two types of honors courses (1) regular classes but with smaller size and a discussion approach rather than lecture (2) special courses only offered to honors students
Honors students can do 1-1 special projects with a professor for credit
All honors students get $1,000 stipend for study abroad
Freshmen cannot have a car
