Okay here are the stats:

SAT 2220 (CR 800, M 620, W 800)
SAT 2s: Lit 800, Bio 660
APs: eng lang & eng lit, pretty sure I got 4/5
Grades: class unranked, tiny very selective private school, doesn't do grade point averages, weird grading scale. But I am probably an A- student by most standards, with the equivalent of an A+ in most humanities stuff and B+ in most math/science stuff. honors in english and art)
white, female Texan

gold key award for art/literature
5 years piano and choir/voice
50+ volunteer hours at hospital and w/ kids
published poet
member of "international poets society"
nominated for inclusion in "notable high schoolers" or some such national booklet thing like that, I just got it in the mail, lol
dance, art, photography, at school and various camps
philosophy club, french club

those are really the most accomplished sounding things I can come up with to put on my apps. I've also visited Emory and requested lots of info in the mail and online and "demonstrated interest" a lot.

I fell in love with Emory and I've decided it's my first choice, so I'll be applying ED. I feel good about most of my application but I am worried about my weakness in science/math, although everyone reassures me they would want people like me to even things out or whatever.

oh and a question: when I visited Emory a couple of weeks ago, the speaker at the info session said something about taking the math 2C for placement. I can't find that on the website or anywhere else. What was he talking about?
