What would constitute a MAJOR mistake and what would consitute a minor mistake? Thanks to all who respond.

I'll start:
MAJOR: misspelling ur name; writing for essay "Didn't feel like writing this"; ommitting like a whole section; anything that shows a MAJOR lack of proffreading

Minor: one to three typos as long as they don't significantly alter something; listing two years of doing activity in activities portion of app and then listing two years in attachment but the years dont match up (e.g. 9,10 on app and 10,11 on attachment)

A minor mistake is basically what you have seen everyone on the forum worrying about (look around... people get riled up over the smallest mistakes)

I really don't know what I'd call a big mistake...

What if someone used his harvard supplementary letter for his yale sup letter and forgot to change "Dear Harvard Admissions Officers..." LMAO

This is why I will not look at my essays again until after I get my admit/reject. I am too scared!

MAJOR: Extracurricular Activities: Smoking weed 15 hrs a week for 2 years. oops.

spideyweb95: that kind of thing happened to me :-(

except the good thing it was only an email asking for some answer

and it was between emory and jhu

dear blah

i'm currently applying to JHU....

Awww&##$#%$%$$#$#%$%$%#^#&*$($% noooo
