I am confused. There is a thread listing the varous dates when colleges notify students of the decisions. According to this particular CC thread, Kenyon releases its decisions on March 21. Where does that date come from?? The Kenyon website says decisions will be released on April 1. And, does anyone know if decisions are snail mail or e-mail? Thanks!

An international friend of mine said that he got waitlisted yesterday, he also said that the email said that some students were notified early.

PS He seemed pretty depressed, but he is kind of liar.

I got my decision on Monday. I’m not international in that I’m a US citizen, but I don’t live in the US, so… The email said nothing about me being notified earlier than anyone else, though I was surprised to get it so early in March. It said that the website for the Class of 2016 went “live” on March 28, so I suppose everyone should know by then.

Has anyone who lives in the US heard back yet?

Son got his acceptance letter 6 March, he was very surprised to got it this early, and we are so happy about it. We are international in Asia.

Kenyon mailed international decisions on March 5th.

They will mail all other decisions (postal mail) sometime between March 21st and April 1st.

I called the admission office and they said they will mail decisions of anyone who live in the US begin March 21st.

Decisions were sent today! :)

via snailmail or email??

Snailmail … But they shouldn’t take long to get here!

Received large, white envelope in today’s mail. Too bad son won’t be home until 3:00.

Congrats on your acceptance. I came home between school and softball practice to check … and there was no envelop from Kenyon. Sucks!

Large white envelope with a thumbs up on the front in NC mail today!

no envelop= rejection? i live in south cal, didnt get anything

I received an extremely thin envelope of rejection today in NY.
Really disappointed with both my result and the fact that the letter is poor-written. I’ve expected to receive at least a warmhearted rejection letter like Colgate’s, especially from a school with renowned writing program like Kenyon.

Still love Kenyon anyway
Wish everyone in here get accepted.

Rejected. But I was expecting that. :P

Daughter accepted. With writing award. We are stunned.
