March 30th

March 30 at 5 P.M. Eastern time, at least for the Ivies. Stanford usually ends up not being the date they say it’ll be.

I didn’t send my IDOC stuff either! Rainbow, do I need to contact the collegeboard (or all my collesge)? Or is it a general thing that it’s okay if it’s late?

I applied to Harvard. I’m not even sure why. It didn’t have a supplement so I figured why not. I mean I’m not vastly unqualified, but who are we kidding… 33 ACT, 3.85 GPA, white male, hasn’t cured cancer = rejection. I did slap on my UVA essay under the additional information section because I liked it so much :D. It was about a bacon egg and cheese sandwich yummm.

Why not just use your UVA essay as the optional essay for the supplement?

I have already submitted my IDOC packet, but the problem is it will reach around 7 - 8 March (instead of 1st March).

^^ lol!
30 more days to go! I really wish I can get into at least ONE of the schools I applied to in the US…or else I’m screwed by tuition and stuff.
Fingers crossed.

Are we sure they won’t send emails a couple hours earlier for acceptances or rejections? Anyone know?

Yes, we’re sure. It’s been at 5 PM ET for multiple years and they’ve already stated their intention to continue that tradition.

30 days :D, and I don’t have to wait when I get home on the 30th because I’m living in pacific time :D

West Coast, represent! LOL

Ohh are you guys going to check it during school? I don’t know if I could do that with all those people around.

Well in the country I live in the decisions will come out at 10PM so I’ll be at home (with my twin brother who also applied to Harvard.) I’ll check it together with my brother though.

I will be getting quite a few decisions on March 30th… Harvard’s or Yale’s will be the last one I’ll check. It will be in the reverse order of preference. Pretty logical if you think about it.

I’m going to check it at home as well. I want to be alone when I see it.

We’re in the 20s!

I’ll probably just check them in the order I get them.

I’m gonna check in the order I get them as well…no need to rank them prior to Mar 30 because there are pros and cons to each type of ranking…lool. I thought that I would check my top choices first, but then again I might want to check the other ones first to ease myself into it.

Oh question! On on March 30th 5pm ET, all ivy decisions will be emailed out? I thought I’d have to log in the account into each school to find out? So which one is it? I sure hope for the former =]

Does Harvard do the big package small package thing?

^^ Some email; some you have to check online yourself.

AFAIK, only Harvard sends an email. The rest should have sites to log into.
