when and how does pomona notify with regards to admissions decisions? email? regular mail?

They notify applicants with regular mail [Someone else asked that in another thread]. For regulars they usually do so from end of march-April 10.

what about internationals?

This is from their site:

But I think it'd take around 1 week to get there? From what I've read so far on this site, Pomona usually sends decisions out in last March, so I think internationals would probably get it by mid-April?

I really hate how colleges are sending decisions out later and later. I already have a few colleges to visit in the month of April. I need more time to plan out these visits, especially if I plan on staying overnight.

Luckily, I'll be visiting Pomona on Monday. I would be kind of annoying if I took the time to go visit and then I got rejected two weeks later. lol

Can we call the admissions office to find out our decision if we're international (mail takes literally a month to get here...)? I think it would be really awkward to find out my decision by phone though, especially if I get rejection.

I am not sure if you can find out by phone, but you can try explain your circumstance and give it a shot.

I'm think they e-mail decisions to international students, but I'm not 100% sure. If not, they'd probably tell you over the phone in your case once they had finalized the decisions.
