So when do we find out? I read somewhere that it might be today.

I dunno... I didn't get anything though so many others did...

Prolly today though.

But how do you guys know?
What is the estimated time?

sigh its 9:00 and no notice.

maybe tomorrow.

im hoping for 8am tomorrow

You guys can relax...On another thread someone said they were down at Emory for some scholarship thing and Jean Jordan (admissions dean) told them they "hoped to have them ready by Tuesday".....

Don't shoot the messenger though........

Tuesday! Thats years away!

OPUS says the decisions will be online "by April 1st". So could be anytime between now and then....

haha and I was hoping when I woke up today... :)

hmm... I wonder if this is emory's attempt to snatch up as many ivy - rejects as possible? just a thought

Why would a few days make a difference, CNI? The release date for "essence of EMory" this year was definitely later than last year; it would be logical to assume that the RD date would be later also (although it really surprises me that Emory would release decisions during the week when they are in their offices...not their usual MO)...

IMO, this really stinks....Unless you are on spring break, if they release decisions at 8:00 am, most students will find out in school....Not good....at least with Ivys the decisions are posted in the evening??? (I think?)

Someone brave should e-mail them and tell them to release at the end of the day on Monday instead of 8:00 on Tuesday...and no, I am not brave.......

Well, Emory has historically held the distinction as being an "ivy-reject" school, hence the large population of NY'ers. And, the fact that they are releasing THE DAY after the Ivy release date just kinda seems like a tactic to increase yield. However, this is all my speculation of course.

Prediction.....5pm on Monday...

MBJ: Oh wise one......Why do you think this? You like my idea???

Hi Rod. I agree with you that decisions should come out in the evening so kids can check it out themselves. Last night, my S had a bunch of friends over watching the NCAA basketball. Throughout the evening, some sneaked off for a few minutes to check their decisions from schools on my computer. Lots of cheering...A few of his friends are waiting on Emory.....would have been nice if it was up already. I still think Emory will come down with decisionis on Monday... Meanwhile, my S ordered a few more Emory shirts...Best of luck to you.
