Notification E-mail

This is really weird, I know that a FEW people have been called/e-mailed. Are they still sticking to the April 1st notification for most people? Or are they going to notify the acceptances before April 1st. But then I heard that they were sending out rejection letters BEFORE April 1st. But I haven’t heard that anyone has been rejected.

I honestly I have no idea what they are doing. I've heard so many different things. But I do know that I have friends who have been accepted already. I haven't heard of any one being rejected yet, but let's keep our fingers crossed. The best advice I can give to us both is that we have to wait it out. I'm very scared and nervous but what can you do?

did your friends who have already been accepted receive emails? Thanks!

Yes they recieved e-mails.

My friend was accepted and the called her...

I don't like this waiting game any more! aha... I think I'm going a bit crazy.

How's everyone else holding up?

The same exact way!

LOL. The days just seem to go by so much slower, thank goodness I'm on my Spring Break right now - or I would NOT be holding up.
I'm thinkin' we're going to find out sometime next week (SCARY)

Yeah... according to previous posts from different years.
I'm going to assume that we're going to find out March 27th, after 4:00pm,
LOL. WHY DOES THAT SEEM SO FAR AWAY!? :p

Many broken legs to everyone!
FINGERS CROSSED

so are you implying that all those who have not already been notified will probably be rejected? I was under the impression that everyone was notified at the same time...so I'm really confused/nervous/freaking the %$^# out.

Most are notified around April 1. Most have not yet heard anything. Most acceptances and rejections from BOCO come at the same time and close to April 1. My D was accepted to BOCO right around April 1 in her year and nobody had heard before then.

In the case of BOCO, I would NOT AT ALL assume you are rejected right now. Most decisions from BOCO have yet to be released.

The last 2 years emails went out on the last Friday of March around 5pm

Last year, I don't think ANYONE heard officially before a certain date (wish I could remember when!) when the decision was available online.

Last year...
Friday, March 28th around 4-5pm

The online notification is newer then. In my D's year, the notification for BOCO was snail mail. The postmark on the package (still have it) is March 30. But that was four years ago. So, it sounds like last year it was online late in the day on March 28. This year, March 27 is a Friday and that could be the day (I have no inside info on this). Some schools like to do online notifications late in the day on a Friday so as to not get a lot of upset calls the next day. :D

Thank you all so much! Let me tell you reading these posts puts my mind at rest! It's good to know that we all shouldn't be worried just yet. Hopefully this next week comes quickly so we can all find out!

Yeah, I remember that BoCo told the kids when to go online and find out their decisions and everyone found out at once. So hang in there, everyone. You are almost to the finish line. (Of course, once you're in, you have to wait for the wonderful BoCo packet and the -- well, at least for us! -- not so great financial aid offer.) :)

Tension, Tension, Tension... I don't know how to handle this. :p
One day at a time, I keep telling myself. lol...
I could just imagine how many other people are in my position.
CRAZY-NESS.

I'm really surprised that many applicants are still waiting a notification email.
I've already got a rejection on last Tuesday..and my friend emailed me that she had received a rejection at the same time of mine..(we both applied for Master's course. actually we met at the audition.)

I really hope you all get an acceptance!!!!
KEEP MY FINGERS CROSSED^^

but this wasn't for the MT program that high school seniors are applying for, that you've already heard back from?
