I applied ED too...I'm assuming that they send notification out on December 15 by mail, colleges usually put it on their websites when they are sending out email notifications. Anyway...good luck! =]

barnard does not notify you by email. if you call them, they will tell you they are mailing the letters on december 15, so theoretically you should get them a few days later. last year, however, they lied about this, and people who were accepted ED received a fed ex package on the 15th. people who were deferred or rejected got a skinny letter via regular mail a couple days after.
good luck!

last year's threads on the subject said something like the applicants who were accepted received thick cardboard envelopes sent through express mail on the 15th. Accepted applicants from the New York area received their notifications on the 14th, but most acceptees found out on the 15th. Skinny envelopes with return service requests stamped on the outside were deferrals, and these were sent through the regular post. The decisions from International and California applicants took a few days longer, as did the deferrals and rejections. However, at this time of year, delays in the postal service can be expected, so i guess the real answer is sometime within the next seven days.
