Accepted in Pittsburgh! Nearly had a heart attack… SAT 2080 GPA 3.97 UW. Good Ecs and essay I guess. Good luck everyone, and to those that didn’t get in, know that you all will end up at great schools you’ll love!

Got the mail but it wasn’t there! Hoping for tomorrow in South Florida :D

Big packet in NJ. 29 ACT, 4.0. Very strong essays and strong ECs.

Congrats everyone! I hope I’ll be joining you soon :)

daughter received the small letter today. I thought that there was a small chance that she would be waitlisted. I was more concerned about her being accepted with an insufficient financial package. But outright rejected? really?

Son got acceptance package today in Maryland. His first choice, so we are very happy for him. Package came regular mail, and was in a larger envelope.

bosoxfan, what are your D’s stats? I was surprised i was waitlisted…

3.88 UW 4.23 W and 2220 SAT

Regular Decision Came in mail to today - NJ

Small envelope in CA today
Expected, tons of kids from my child’s school apply to BC every year and only a few get in. Still, its the first outright rejection - stings a little

She had a 3.95 UW and 4.3 W, SAT I’s in the upper 600’s, SAT II’s in the mid 700’s, lots of APs (all 4’s and 5’s), leadership positions, NHS, varsity athlete in multiple sports, etc, etc.

Hang in there. Within hours of receiving the rejection letter from BC she was accepted at the University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, and awarded a very nice scholarship to another private university.

I live in new england and was not notified yet…is there something wrong or have not all of the decisions gotten around yet?

correction:

Small envelope was a wait list.

As I said on the other post: Got accepted today on Long Island! SHOCKED! 105.6 weighted GPA, 29 ACT, varsity baseball and NHS among other things, good community service, and AP Scholar with Honor. I thought my ACT was too low to get me in based on past years. Pumped!

Does anyone know how BC admissions views the IB Program? Do they favor it, dislike it or are they indifferent?

Congratulations to all of those accepted. It’s a fine school should you elect to come.

are the extra tabs up yet? I only have one =(

Accepted!
2020 SAT, 32 ACT
strong leadership and community service roles
varsity athlete/captain
all honors or AP’s throughout highschool
3.8 UW - the only GPA that was sent

I live in Cali and I havent received anything yet…D:

@philposill,

I’m thinking that they may favor it over normal courses. I am still surprised that I got in, but In also take those courses so i’m thinking that may have helped a bit.

I’m not sure though.

Wait listed:/ I guess it’s better than rejection. I was pretty sure I wouldn’t be admitted.
