Hi. I still have 11 schools to hear back from.
UCB, U of Mich, GT, Cooper Union, Princeton, CMU, Cornell, NU, Rice, Vanderbilt, and Stanford.

So far, I've received the decisions by both mail and online.

So if they notify me by online, what if I don't know my ID and Password?

Also, for the ones I've received the decisions via email, I have not yet received financial information. Will they ever? Like for UT and CWRU, I know I'm accepted but I don't know how much it will cost.

Help!

first of all, it’s your job as the applicant to keep track of your ID and passwords. if you don’t have it, you’ll either have to wait a lot longer for the admissions letter to come in the mail (beware that some schools don’t notify you via mail if you’re not admitted), or you can try recovering your password somehow.

you can find out which colleges notify online and which ones by email by going through each of these colleges’ admission websites. the financial aid informaiton will come in the mail; you’ll just have to wait patiently for it.

But for some schools, I don’t even remember getting an ID. Like Vanderbilt. I’ve never received anything from them…

Don’t worry about Id’s as many don’t send any. In any case you can send an e-mail to the admissions department at the school in question and they will help you.

You’ll have to look through your email to see if you can find your ID and password. If the email they send tells you that you’ll need one or sends you to a place to log in, just do what you can to retrieve it.

Many of the schools that notify via email will just tell you within the email or will provide whatever you need to get to the decision.
