<p>hi just a quick question... my mom's friend said her daughter found out today that she was admitted to Cal, and both my mom and i were kind of confused about how that could happen... does some sort of scholarship notification or award come out around now?</p>
<p>It should be 3/27 when you can check online. She probably got the Regent's Scholar thing or whatever... i've heard a few cases where people already got in. Not so sure though</p>

<p>SHE PROBABLY GOT AN EMAIL AND IS TRYING TO STRETCH IT. ANY NOTIFICATION BEFORE THE 27TH ISNT OFFICIAL, BUT I COULD BE (AND OFTEN AM) WRONG. </p>
