What date do you find out your decision?

I have heard that some schools at Cornell are rolling, does that mean that each school tells you at a different time? Thanks

I’m pretty sure the majority of the schools at Cornell abide by the common Ivy League notification date, which hasn’t been posted yet (I don’t think). It’s usually March 31 or April 1, though.

Rolling admissions means that the earlier you apply, the earlier you’ll hear back. I’m pretty sure that all of the Cornell colleges release their decisions along with the rest of the Ivy League, though.

Some schools at Cornell ARE rolling and it IS possible to find out before the ivy league decision release date. Not many people, however, get to find out early. Very few do, actually.

sometimes students in ILR find out early (and by early, its maybe a couple days or a week in advance). it is very rare though and the RD decisions come out the same time as other schools

There are likely letters though, right?

those are likely letters

likely letters are verrrry rare and only go to a select group of students. just because you dont get one doesnt mean you are automatically rejected. seriously, its maybe 100 letters or so, when approx. 6000 are accepted. really small percentage
