Notorious Graduates

Condi Rice went to University of Denver for undergrad, also doctorate, I believe.

Someone a while back posted that an in-law's roomie was Jeffrey Daumer!

OP: There was a segment on "behind the lines" on ESPN a few weeks back about Jim Jones. It was really interesting.

The grandson of the infamous Jim Jones (Guyana) is apparently a fairly good basketball player. I don't remember whether he was identified as a high school or college player in the ESPN report. The boy's father survived the Jonestown tragedy because the church team was playing in the U.S. at the time.

My son's research found that Jones was ordained minister with the Disciples of Christ. Butler was affiliated with DOC until shortly after the People's Temple massacre. Maybe just a coincidence!

Alumni at all these schools certainly know of their own "infamous" grads, but would others remember this fact? It would be awful to have somone say to you, "Isn't that the school where ______ ______ attended?"

Not a mass murderer or bomber--just a purveyor of massive bad taste--Jerry Spring graduated from Tulane (undergrad) and received a law degree from Northwestern.

Opps--meant to write Jerry Springer (not Jerry Spring--as above).

Richard Nixon has been mentioned as a graduate of Duke Law School. He received his Bachelor's degree from a small school near L.A., Whittier College.

Going way back, Vice-President and would be King of Trans-Mississippi America, Aaron Burr, earned his B.A. in Theology from Princeton.
