<p>When my S visited Notre Dame as a recruit, we had a meeting with the academic coordinator for the team. Of note is that while <em>all</em> freshmen at ND get free tutoring, all athletes get free tutoring for all four years. There was a great deal of emphasis placed on academic performance and how they were going to support my son academically. We also talked about the athletic training and conditioning which is also impressive -- I felt they'd take really good care of my son and he'd get a good education.</p>
