<p>Anyone here about their financial aid package yet? Or know when they come out? (For those accepted EA).</p>

<p>I believe they come out in April about 1-2 weeks after RD announcements, though I am not positive.</p>

<p>i think its unfair that we have to make a decision by may 1, get in early, and are still unbable to even find out if we can afford an ND education</p>
<p>i have loved ND my entire life - its been my dream school - but this wait has made me look much more seriously at less expensive schools where I have scholarships.</p>

<p>Yes, hopefully we hear soon. It is tough to wait. I guess it gets mailed (or emailed) since there is no online system.</p>
<p>academygirl, I feel exactly the same. Never thought I’d be going anywhere but ND, but they’re really making it hard for me to ignore other offers.</p>
<p>Not a word. It’s not ds’s dream school, but the FA wait has about crossed it off the list, since we haven’t visited yet and a rush visit in April while weighing all the other offers isn’t likely.</p>
<p>I can’t remember where I read it, but I had read that ND tries to get out the FA info by mid-March to EAs. We should be receiving it any day now. Considering that all info doesn’t have to submitted to IDOC until March 1, it really is not that bad a turn-around time. We applied for FA to U of I - Champaign at the same time and just heard from them yesterday via email. Their “award” letter was laughable, but it’s a clear indication of public education in Illinois.</p>

<p>I called admissions yesterday, to see if all of my daughters info. was in order(RD), and they said that acceptance letters will be mailed approximately April 1st. Then the Financial Aid Dept said that “hopefully” financial aid packets will begin going out on a daily bases sometime next week. No specific order.</p>
<p>I got the financial aid letter about a week or two after I was accepted. Until you receive the actual letter, I wouldn’t be panicking. My offer was MUCH more generous than I was expecting, and I’ve heard a lot of people say the same. The cost of attending ND ended up being about the same as the other schools I was considering - however, I didn’t apply to a lot of schools and the ones that I did apply to were ones that are notoriously stingy with aid.</p>
<p>ugh just talked to some fin. aid ppl, and even though i had ALL papers in by the early date, they said it won’t be goin out until early april.</p>
<p>After reading your post, I called as well. They told me that packages would start going out next week. How frustrating!</p>
<p>I was told yesterday that packages will start going out this Friday or next Monday.</p>
<p>I spoke with someone in FA on Wednesday and was told that my son’s award letter would be mailed at the end of this week or early next week. FA for EA is supposed to go out a little sooner than for RD.</p>

<p>Yes, it is a little surprising the EA didn’t hear yet. Did any EA accepted students receive FA yet?</p>
<p>^It should be coming out within a week or two - that is how it worked last year</p>
<p>When I spoke to Financial Aid last week, they confirmed that my son’s info was all received and said I should be receiving it “any day now”. He was accepted EA.</p>
