For those of you who have received “the call,” did your Admission Rep. call your cell phone or your home phone?
Decision date is May 15. Still waiting for financial aid package. Did anyone get their FA and is it close to EFC?

I’m assuming that they are done with the first round of wait list calls and others won’t hear until after May 15 if there are still spots left?
Do they go in rounds? What makes you think the first round is over? @plaidpants5
I’m not positive about anything but I was looking at last year’s thread. Seems to me like they made their calls last week and then if anyone does not accept their spot and there is still room in the class, they will make a second round of calls to add more people. Just what I was thinking @Borromeo25
Thank you @irishmother ! I am from NY but the regional counselor who handles NYC is different from the one who deals with the rest of the NY applicants. I am so relieved that the ‘every other year zero students get off the waitlist’ pattern hasn’t remained true this year.

Thank you @UNDDREAMER ! I received the call from the regional admissions rep, who I had contacted with updates to my file and emailed to show interest.
@Borromeo25 I got the call on my cell phone, but that was the number I had told my rep to call when I spoke to him about being placed on the waitlist in April.
@FamilyMan94 They told me that I have until May 15th to decide as well.
@auntie29 I am still waiting on my financial aid package as well, my family called the office today and they said my file is listed as “under review.”
@plaidpants5 my counselor didn’t mention how many students were taken off the wait list, and as tempted as I was to ask I didn’t want seem ungrateful. I think you are probably right about the rounds of taking people off of the waiting list based off of what those on last year’s waitlist shared.

Been reading this thread so thought I’d share. My regional counselor called me last Thurs and packet has arrived!

Congratulations @trying2B !!! So happy to hear another waitlister got in.
I received my admissions packet on Saturday and just got my financial aid information via email tonight. It was pretty much what I expected based on the EFC calculations my family did
My daughter just received Financial Aid email. They sent US mail too. Very generous aid in comparison with USC’s, which is also good. Great University !! If you wait for FA letter, check kid’s email first. I withdrew enrollment from USC and committed enrollment to ND in a second.
My nephew also got a very generous scholarship and financial aid. So excited to accompany him this fall. Had the same feelings 11 years ago when I accompanied my son at ND. GO IRISH!!!
Any more updates from anyone? I’m just always curious 
@plaidpants5 I’m still waiting on my financial aid which is still “in processing” not exactly sure what that means though
@plaidpants5 my HS counselor spoke to ND counselor Tuesday; she said “a very small number were taken”. No info whether more would come in the next wave if there is one. Keeping my fingers crossed for you and me!
