Notre Dame Admissions

I am currently a senior and live in Florida. I have a 3.8 UW and a 4.45 W. I’m in Mu Alpha Theta, NHS Spanish honor society, varsity track, XC, and swimming, and historian for student government. I also have a good number of service hours. My weakest area is SAT/ACT. I got an 1110/1600 my first try but I’m going to take it again. My mom also attended Notre Dame (if this might help?)

Your unweighted GPA isn’t doing you any favors either. Unless your school is very stingy with their grades, you are fighting an EXTREMELY uphill battle to get admitted to Notre Dame, even with the benefit of the Legacy.

Do you know your class rank?

I think you sound like a great student. I think you should consider RD, and work this fall to increase your SAT score and/or see how you do on the ACT. Work hard, as well on the essays - make them personal and unique.

Your SAT will really hold you back if you cant get it up. Try the ACT? Absolutely apply here anyway as it is always worth a shot to achieve your dreams anything can happen.

your GPA and SAT scores will make it near impossible for you to get admitted. if you want a good chance, wait until RD.
