Sorry for the long post. Thanks for your time

Bump bump bump

Bump… Anybody??

¡Por favor amigos!

I’d say you’d have a very good chance. Especially if you apply early action. Notre Dame’s regular acceptance rate is about 25%, but their early action acceptance rate raises to about 33% from what the admissions representative told me.

Thanks! More opinions anyone???

bumpity bump bump

Bump bump bump

any input at all?

Take a look at the Common Data set for ND – 3.6 unweighted and a 33 is on the lower end of admission statistics for ND. The 70% generated by parchment seems quite high. I posted in ND board recently that the val and sal at my son’s school are going to ND – 4.0 unweighted and 35 ACT, plus varsity sports and national debate awards for val, and 3.95 and about a 34, also with national debate awards for the sal.

Also, while Mendoza College of Business is highly ranked for undergrad business, students are not admitted as freshman into Mendoza, so having a business curriculum in high school may hurt you – not the most rigorous curriculum – more than it helps you at ND.

Ok, just answered my own question – ND common data does not break down by GPA but the bottom quarter of admitted students have a 32 ACT and the top quarter are 34 or above, so your 33 puts you smack in the middle. 90% of admitted students are in the top 10% of their class, and 97% in the top quarter. The rigor of the curriculum is the only criteria ranked as “very important” and then rank, gpa and test scores are important. Plus, ND recommends 4 years of language and sciences.

I would say low end chances at ND for non-legacy, non-recruited athlete.

WOOO DECAA were you at ICDC this year in salt lake city??
Anyways, you are a really solid applicant. If notre dame is your number one choice, DEFINITELY apply ED.

Thanks for the info. I knew the 70% sounded very high…
Yes, I was at ICDC this year, competing in the International Business Plan event.

I do have 4 years of language and lab-based sciences a well.

Any more opinions?

Bump bump bump

Any more thoughts at all? I am freaking out haha

Am I aiming too high with these schools?
