REJECTED got letter today

ACT32
3.87 UW
EC all over it

Great Essay

I got wait-listed today. I’m too frustrated and sad to fill out the template but I did have a 32 ACT, 10/92 rank, and whole bunch of extras. I’m devastated since ND is the thing I loved the most during my life. Nothing meant more to me than Notre Dame. This is so frustrating and sad and I know on one that got accepted has more passion to that school than me.

BMidwest…same story don’t feel bad…my son was rejected. Waitlisted at Northwestern and U of Chicago. Likely headed to Kelley at IU or U of Ill.

[/ul]General Comments: Excited to be Irish! Congrats to the RD admits and good luck to those on the waitlist.

Daughter got waitlisted after being deferred EA. Her older sister went to ND, and she’s grown up around it all her life and had a real passion to go there. She was pretty sad, but I think she’s resigned herself to just become a darn good Purdue engineer instead of an ND one!

Waitlisted also. I had slightly lower stats 29 ACT, 3.95 GPA, with lots of ECs and really original essays. I’m a legacy and I’ve come there every summer since I was little. I’m not giving up the fight one bit! Notre Dame is the only school I want to go to. So I’m pretty much going to crazy trying to get off the waiting list. Wish me luck :)

Waitlisted as well.
What are the other waitlisters going to do in the meantime?

Great. I’m guessing that a 2110 sat is going to get me rejected. After ten other rejections I think I’m getting used to it. I hate everything right now. First world problems…

i have a 2110 also praying for good news :)

I’m from California, so it might take a while…It should be faster to New York though. I’m also still waiting for Fordham. Looking at all the geniuses that got into ND though, makes me feel really worried. ):

From California too. How long could this possibly take? I love that they are using the traditional means of delivery - and I HATE it! This is my last school to hear from.

My son got ACCEPTED yesterday. His SAT superscore was 1500.
But here is a word to those waitlisted. My niece was passionate about ND and got waitlisted a few years ago. They called her on June 21st and offered a position. So, do not give up hope… and pray like crazy. Notre Dame IS the University of Our Lady… do not forget that Mary, the Mother of God …has powerful influence. Pray… and pray some more.

Last one on our list
Sloooow mail in Maine

is it a large envelope for acceptance?

Yes. Acceptance is a large envelope.

Just got my acceptance in California! GO IRISH!!!

Does it happen alot where like last year they take no one off of the waiting list or was last year just an unusual year?
