I think a major reason why I was denied by ND is that the courses that I took this year did not align with their first year of studies. I was in the honors program at my university so there were specific courses that I was required to take. This may be why I was rejected before June 1st. I would probably have to take 4 courses to get up to speed with everyone else. Vanderbilt is a lot more flexible.

Also is there any engineering applicant willing to share what classes you have taken? I’m concerned about the fact that I didn’t take many Arts/Humanities classes during my first year. Thanks in advance!

If I don’t have one syllabus, will that mean my application is not complete? I didn’t keep it and can’t get in contact with my professor. Also, anyone have experience or know of someone who didn’t have the transfer required classes completed? I’m nervous for that aspect because I think I’m a strong candidate for acceptance, but am missing one or two transfer required courses. How likely are they to let it slide or let me take it in the summer?
I asked the admission counselor, as I need to still take Calc 2 if I were to transfer, and she said we can take it over the summer. If you only need to make up one or two courses I don’t think there is an issue. It becomes an issue when you become really off track and may not be able to graduate in time. Hope that helped
so if we are trying to transfer from a four year to notre dame, all we had to do is send in our final grades from the most recent semester? I sent in my final grades about a week ago. Any idea how long it takes before they make decisions?? super anxious an its may 30th

Has anyone been accepted and confirmed enrollment yet? I enrolled about a week ago and got a confirmation email but haven’t gotten the follow up email yet… I’m just wondering if I should contact them or if I’m jumping the gun
Still waiting… no mail or email as of late yesterday.
I’d wait because it seems that they are’t done picking their transfer class yet. Honestly I’d wait till July when all decisions are out and almost everybody is enrolled @bbnugent
@bbnugent do you mind me asking if you received enough financial aid? Also, how long did it take for you to receive your financial aid package? My summer classes are set to start on Monday so I realize I won’t know by then. I’m worried I won’t receive enough $ to be able to afford to go.
