@rungreen @mat4287 In the acceptance letter, it has been mentioned that we will be able to access our confirmation form beginning the 11th of March.
So, I guess the change will come into effect from 11th for others too.
@rungreen No, I don’t think that only those who are accepted, receive an email. I received an email because I am not from the United States. They will mail the acceptance letter to the applicants in the States beginning the 14th of March. So, you might have to wait for another week or 2 to receive your letter.
Not sure if the portal shows your status as ‘accepted’ or ‘deferred’.
Just got rejected (by email). Really thought diversity was going to weigh in. Live in Brazil, born in the U.S and Chinese descendant… They said about 800 applicants though 
I’m from US so don’t know if this is just me or a general US student thing but I didn’t see anything on my profile. Does that mean I didn’t get in or did no other US students get anything?
@Mcrunner I dont think the profiles are changing at all this year. Was just rejected and mine is still unchanged. Probably received first because got it by email (international) since they mail out on the 7th

Hello! So from what I can understand, since I am a student living in the U.S., I will get something in the mail on Monday March 14th? (Will they be sending it out that day or will we be receiving it that day?). And will we get a rejection letter if we don’t make it? Thanks!
@bsmithsonian I heard they mailed US letters on March 7th (yesterday) so any day now, as far as I know! Dying to find out! I hope they do a rejection letter so I’m not left waiting although I’m sure I’d know quickly by checking this page to see if others got in. If they sent rejection emails to the international students, I would think they would send rejection letters to the US students!

@vivianshiu I’ve only visited since my dad is an alumni, so of course I HAD go visit! I hope to be accepted but since I’m a US student, I haven’t found out yet! Praying I get the letter in the mail today or tomorrow, though, and REALLY praying I get accepted! 
@bsmithsonian Based on the international emails, the portal will change the 11th, but since letters were mailed the 7th, I’m thinking ND did this so that students would have to find out through the mail this year, rather than through the portal like so many did in years past. Based on this, I think we will probably receive letters/see a portal change around the same time. I’m hopeful the letters will arrive Thursday/Friday. also, @Mcrunner they always send out rejection letters as well as wait-listed letters
My daughter applied. I called Notre Dame yesterday. They said on Monday 3/7, letters were mailed to U.S. students and emails were sent to international students. Later this week, they said online profiles will be updated for those admitted to help facilitate next steps. No online updates willl be made for those rejected or wait listed. If you don’t have the link to your online application, check earlier in this forum. Someone posted it. If you got in, there will be a new link at the very bottom of your checklist.
We live in Michigan. Her letter hasn’t come yet. Based on posts by an international student and what ND said yesterday, I believe online uodates will appear on Friday, 3/11. Good luck to all.

Less than 5 days to go! I’m super nervous!
Alright, why ask someone else create something about leadership seminar? Just do it and they will come. You learn more by doing. I’m okay(not happy) if I get declined it’s about the process and what I can learn for my college admissions. I did attend an engineering program last summer and it was amazing. If I’m not selected I will move forward and be excited for those who do. Wake up every day to be better and you will. Not being accepted is not the end but the beginning of your heart and desire.
