Hi! I'm desperate to be accepted into the Notre Dame Leadership Seminar for the summer of 2014. I have lots of service hours, I'm a junior officer of a service club, I'm involved in theater, I'm on stage crew, I write one act plays in my free time, which i wrote about in the essay (hopefully that makes me stand out). I've taken four AP classes and I am scheduled to take three more next year. My teacher rec letter is form my AP art history teacher, which i think fits well with the seminar I want to do. I have a 28 on the PLAN, which projects a 31-34 on the ACT (most recent test scores). My unweighted average is a 94 and weighted it is a 98. I am legacy at ND and very passionate about the Arts and Social Change Seminar. But I'm white from IL and I don't know if I stand out enough. How competitive is this program? Do you think I have a chance? Any tips on getting in??

Hello! I am also applying to the leadership seminar this summer, but I applied for the science, ethics, and responsibility seminar. Best of luck to you! Anyone else applying?

I would also like to hear from people who have attended in the past…

I just sent in my application tonight. I am hoping for the best. My ACT is a only a 25, but everything else seemed good. I worked really hard on my essays.

I applied to science ethics and responsibility.
