Notre Dame sues Federal Government

I appreciate your thoughtful reply. I would only reinforce the Catholic belief that on faith and morals the church has taught and continues to teach without error. As Timothy 3:15 says, “the church is the pillar and foundation of truth”. The church’s teaching has been unchanged on contraception through time. I would contrast this with most protestant churches that accepted contraception beginning in 1930. I always like to ask my solo scriptural cousins in faith what verses did they see in the bible change before and after 1930?

In short, I don’t see any conflict between the churches teaching on birth control and reason, nor has the teaching been arbritary as it has been consistent for 2000 years. Take a look at scripturalcatholic.com and read the scriptural and early church fathers references on this subject. And, I’d say pray for the gift of wisdom in this area. It’s difficult sometimes to read the biblical “proof texts” and believe. That’s where prayer and God’s grace is needed.

I promise to pray for you too but please pray for me.

The vast majority of employers of any size are self-insured. Many or most of them pay a 3rd party administrator to handle claims.

I can’t wrap my head around the administration stating this is some sort of “compromise” saying the “insurance co.” will pay for b/c, when we all know it is/will be the employer footing the bill. Semantics and hollow words.
