I am currently a sophomore and applying to Notre Dame for the spring semester. I was just wondering if anyone new wether or not admissions places more weight on gpa rather than sat and act scores since I've been out of high school for a while. Also is there anything I can do to increase my chances of gaining admissions such as scheduling an interview? Please let me know! Any advice would be appreciated!!

The longer you’ve been out of HS, the less weight they place on HS stats. I don’t know if you can voluntarily schedule an interview, you would have to check the website. Good luck!

Thank you so much for replying! Do you think it’ll help my case going to Saint Mary’s and having a sister who goes to Notre Dame as well as a cousin who graduated from there?

Yeah definitely. Although I’m not sure cousins count as legacy, I think that only is for parents/grandparents etc. I would mention in an essay or something how your sister going to ND has strengthened your desire to attend as well.
