I have a tough decision to make.

I have been accepted to both Notre Dame and Ohio State and can attend both for not an overwhelming amount of money. I am majoring in computer engineering, but could switch to computer science or another type of engineering. Notre Dame will cost me about $10,000 more a year.

Could someone give me some insight on the engineering programs at these schools? I know OSU's graduate engineering program is currently ranked 31 and Notre Dame's is currently ranked 46. Does a difference like this matter? Does this difference translate to undergrad as well? Does the weight Notre Dame's name carries maybe give them some more clout to potential employers, despite the ranking difference?

Also, OSU has co-ops while Notre Dame does not. I have heard many good things about co-ops. Are internships that much different?

Thanks everyone for your helpful insight!
