I posted a thread about this earlier, but I have since narrowed down by options to Notre Dame and the University of Miami.

I have already put down my deposit at Miami and I would have to pay about 17 thousand per year to attend there. I would be a Foote Fellow there and they are offering me a spot in their da Vinci program that I think I will probably deny. This means that I will not have to take any general education classes and can double major/minor and possibly graduate early. I also loved the general vibe at the U and felt like I fit in well there.

My Dad is sympathizing with my current situation and has told me that he would be willing to put down a deposit for Notre Dame as well so that I have a few more days to decide and visit. It would cost about 27k per year for me to attend Notre Dame and I do not think it would be as easy for me to double major, but I would still attempt to do so. I do not really find Notre Dame all that appealing of a place to go to college for the next four years, but I am fixated on the job prospects available after graduating there.

I am most definitely a warm weather person and if anything, my location in Northern New Jersey has made me grow to despise the cold. My parents are willing to take on the extra 10k per year for Notre Dame, but the 27K price tag is certainly over our EFC. My intended majors are Business and Computer science, which is why Notre Dame is so appealing academically (Mendoza). Technically I am Catholic, but I am definitely not a religious person.

So, if you were in my shoes, what would you do?
