notre dame?!

i am a rising junior at a reputable public school in massachusetts, and i would really like to go to ND! here is some info about me... please let me know what you think my chances are!! thanks

my school is 4 levels of classes: college prep, accelerated (ACC), honors (HON), and ap (respectively increasing in difficulty)

Freshman year:
HON environmental science- B
HON English- B+
HON latin 1- A
ACC algebra 2/trig- A+
ACC world history- A
so my weighted gpa was a 4.35 and unweighted a 3.6

EC: volleyball, basketball, softball (2 teams, captain of one), altar serving 2x a month

Sophomore year:
HON PreAP US history 1- A-
HON geometry- A
ACC civil war- A-
HON english- A
HON latin 2- A+
AP bio- A- (5 on AP test and 800 on Bio- E SAT2)
weighted gpa- 4.65, unweighted- 4.0

EC- volleyball, softball, helped out w/ special needs kids playing basketball and baseball, national honor society, composting club, altar serving 2x a month, and a few other one-time volunteer opportunities

-i plan on joining republican club and community service club this coming year

combined, my weighted gpa is a 4.5 and unweighted is a 3.8

i haven't taken the SATs yet, but i scored in the 89th percentile on the PSATs last fall... i plan to improve this october

so... what do you think my chances are? i know it's hard to judge without SAT scores, but any input would be appreciated. thank you!

You only took 1 AP classes. Try to do more of those and see where your GPA goes. Thats when colleges can see if your ready for there work. Are there any in your school?

i have only finished sophomore year…
ap biology is the only ap offered to sophomores, and none are offered to freshmen. plus, ap classes don’t add more points to your gpa than honors classes do. (yeah i know it’s bs)

Awesome that you’re thinking about ND!! My dad and sister went there, so I’ve gotten to know a lot about it and will be applying there this fall. As far as I can tell, you are right on track. Make sure you take the most rigorous schedule available, because you will be judged in the context of your school and what it offers. The 50th percentile range for ACT/SAT at ND is always kinda tough, so make sure you PREPARE and STUDY a lot for these tests. Kaplan, Princeton Review, and Real ACT Prep Guide are great!!!
ACT: 32-34
SAT: 1390-1490
Helping out at your church will also REALLY help (just read the ND mission statement and you’ll know why) so keep that up…something I wish I had done.
PSAT doesn’t matter all that much, but I would shoot for a score > 200. This will guarantee a ranking around or above 95 percentile.
If you take AP USH make sure to prepare well because ND only takes 5s for USH credit.
BEST of luck. Go Irish!!

Feel free to chance me
