If I remember correctly, salubrious was a choice where the right answer was antithetical-adulatory.

Well, what I remember from today from the sentence completion was:
puerile(not sure if right answer to SC)
exuberant wasn’t right because measured would be a better choice for the calm guy
hubris(was it the sc for the section w/ japanese girl, or section w/ biography of african activist, cuz one of them is bound to be experimental)
one where you had to decide between churlishness and languous(churlishness should be right?)

i noticed there has been a lot of talk about the japanese girls, but they have a 50/50 chance of being experimental, frankly because i thought the whole section was much easier compared to the other critical reading sections, and the other 8 sentence completion cr section seemed more in tune to collegeboard’s format.

I definitely don’t remember churlishness.

@ConsolingGrave1, I had a math experimental but I also had the japanese girl passage, so I doubt that one was experimental. I don’t remember the biography of african activist. Could that be your experimental?

Yeah, I had a writing experimental and the Japanese girls passage.

@Toasti, Yeah, that’s what I put.

Does anyone remember the other answer choices for the “first environmental passage “accepting a trend”” question? I don’t remember putting that answer.

@toasti same here

@jackbenimble

i remember one of the choices said passage 1 unquestionable accept the scientific evidence as truths and passage 2 was skeptical of the scientific evidence

Yes, there was Passage 1 accepts scientific evidence while Passage 2 questions its validity.

hey guys,

did u think this critical reading section was easier than before or harder?
any predictions for curve?

previous thought of tsunagi: never exprienced loss.
someone pls remind me of this question

Can you also tell me some of the other answer choices for “she finally understands tsunagi?”

well my 2 cents is that “indignant” means to be mad for all tha right reasons; tsunami’s sister seemed like she knew wat she was talkin bout so it was more indignant that bewildered.

Does anybody remember the answers for the second small passage about the father who created things from junk?

I’m pretty sure that the first one was “creative recombiner” and the second one, which asked what did “native” mean was E. Inborn

how the hell would it be creative recombiner? the passage says that the dad’s ability was innate! that surely leads to esoteric thinker cuz his skill is a skill possessed by very few!

Because he would combine the junk in many different ways…the speaker of the passage (the daughter) said her father was always adding more and more to the estate

I put creative recombiner for the junkman as well. Esoteric thinker might be the next best answer, but recombiner fits best.

Yes, the passage said he recycled things and used them in different ways from their intended purpose.

I also put creative recombiner. It talked about how what he did was more of an art than anything else. I think I almost put esoteric thinker until I saw creative recombiner.

@dlightextract,

hmm, I don’t remember that one either.

hubris
-The primary focus of the passage -Changed perception

Dang, now that I know the word hubris goes with the Japanese girls CR section, I had these original answers but changed these two at the last minute because I was funky. I guess this is NOT the experimental section.

-why does Maria mention the times- to articulate a meaningful point across
Is this the one with insight as one of the answer choices?

-losing smth and gaining smth is central for exchange/change
So no necessary or beneficial answer choice?

-forger had great ability and productivity
Was this the one with art history as one of the answer choices

-first environmental passage “accepting a trend”
What was the question for this? I remember the passage barely, but yeah.

Esoteric thinker and creative combiner are debateable, but I also remember the guy talking about how the dad’s skills belonged to a select few, and he used them to construct/think up things and what not.

Oh, how did Maria act from Tsunagi’s response? W/ surprise ofc.
