Is it alright if i send in the App online by the deadline date but my transcript, reccomendations, scores wont get there till past the deadline(week or two)....thats fine right??

Hope so, my school just gave me my transript packet to mail today.

my counsler said it will be fine but im not that sure, thats why i asked

it will be fine, the college know that school are still sending stuff in, but they need to put down a day so it will come in as close as possible to the deadline

remember, they have to print out stuff, match up with mailed in scores, etc, so don't freak..all will be well, and the schools will call you iff stuff is missing

awesome thanks alot!

Yes, if things are missing, they just let you know and you can correct that. My daughter had test scores go missing from two colleges and one recommendation from another, even though everything was supposedly sent on time. The schools let us know (not by phone BTW, though -- we learned by postcard, email and by checking the web site) and we resubmitted. Problems solved.

If it is only a week or so, the school probably won't even see anything is missing. It takes awhile to sort through everything they've received and see if applications are complete. I mention this because every year, people seem to freak out if the web sites don't show things as being received immediately. Those who have gone through this tell them to relax and they never seem to report back that the things they were worried about never made it and their applications were bounced as a result.
