Who's taking an SAT tomorrow?

what is the esssay topic

how was it?

Was it just me or was the math harder than normal? Writing was a breeze and Reading was easy, there were a few SC that screwed me over and there was only 1 difficult reading passage on Philosophy. Anyways, what did you guys get for the P* prime number math problem? It was like p=(100p)…Thank god I took it early as a Junior with very limited prep…

I had trouble with that question! I said more than three, because the primes for 100 are 5 and 2. If you multiply 100 by 100 or 1000 or 10000, you still get 5 and 2.

Ugh I think you are right…I hope that was the experimental section because there were 4 Math sections.

Yeah I may not even be right. I changed my answer last minute (more like last second lol). I was hoping the same, but wasn’t that question in the 20 minute math section?

how do you know which one was the experimental section??? is it the one hwere they only give u 20 minutes to complete??? if so then the prime question isnt =. and i put none for the prime question but i just guessed lmao.

I thought it was more than three Might be wrong.

like seriously, i think i went down in CR. i seriously couldn’t answer most of the questions… and i panicked during the exam. ):

I had none at first too, I really dont think it was a fair question.
The one 20 minute math section was definitely not experimental. Any of the other three may have been. And ok, then the prime question MAY have been experimental.
What did you get for the critical reading question asking about the boy who was really talented for his age but was disrespectful to his elders? I put a (I cant remember the words right now- the first word might be propitious?)

I don’t think that was the 20 minute section, no. I’m 90% sure it wasn’t. And KennyP since there were 4 Math sections, 1 one of them had to be experimental, and I’m HOPING it was the prime number one. Overall this test screwed me over, much harder than the 15 or so CollegeBoard tests I’ve taken.

Oh Theuntruth that was option A. I was so happy I got that right, Precocity was the first blank!

Ok so I though
Math - medium to easy
CR - Easy
Writing - medium to hard

Really? I thought it was more like
Math- Medium To Hard
CR- Medium
Writing- Super Easy
And I’m confident I got a 10 or higher on my essay so that helps.

Bad test . Wasn’t this overall easier than most test tho !
And who remembers more math q s ?

Adeetz thank you so much! That was the only vocab I wasnt sure of.

aimforthesky I thought the CR was harder than usual, writing was easy, and math was medium lolz.
haha Adeetz right on
Ive taken the 25 college board tests that are out there and thought this one was moderate compared to the others.

i hope they give a generous curve for CR… omg im really worried. and last time i already have a 430… T_T

My last score was a 2050 0_0 hoping for 2200 +

haha same!! I took it as a 10th grader and got a 2030, and Im hoping for a 2250+ now. I took all 25 practice tests out there. Have you heard that they flag your test for review if you jump more than 300 points?
I heard somewhere that the curve is gonna be harsh becuase this test is only for NY where ppl are like ubber smart compared to other places. I hope the collegeboard acknowledges this and alters the curve appropriately, cuz that would be so ridiculously unfair if they curved according to the NYC area. Also, this test is the end of seniors who have studying a lot and beginning of the smarter 11th graders, so the curve is already harsh.
