Nov 5th deadline question

So my parents and I disagree what by midnight Nov 5 means. I believe it means by 11:59pm on Nov 4 while my parents say its by 11:59 pm on Nov 5. I really hope my parents are right, by the right way.

Anyways, I've already sent in my Common App and the cornell supplements, but I still need to get my Early decision binding agreement signed by my Guidance Counselor. I originally planned to do so Monday of this week, but we had no school this whole week, and I emailed my GC a few days back but no response yet. Does anyone know if my ed agreement ABSOLUTELY HAS to be in before the deadline? Thanks!

It is to my understanding that Cornell has no official ED agreement. You only have to indicate you are applying ED

So my GC has no part in this app other than writing my rec letter (which has already been submitted along with the everything on the Common APP)? If true, I’d be so relieved.

I filled one out just in case, but I’m pretty sure ladeedaax is right.

From the Cornell blog: “PZ, all you need to do is check the box on the Cornell Supplement to the Common Application indicating that you are applying early decision. No additional forms are needed when you apply early decision.”

I recall reading that it was 11:59 on Monday.

Could somebody confirm if it’s 11:59 pm on Sunday or on Monday?

i also really need to know if it’s 11:59 tonight or tomorrow night as well!!!
