Yeah that test ownnned me.

I only know of 3 that i missed on the Math (sat1), so that should drop me in the 740-770 range based on the curve. Verbal, I really have no clue, but I'm guessing somewhere around 640-670...

I hope so...i'm nervous.

3 wrong on math is probably around 730. There is a snowball's chance in hell that -3 is a 770.

Just for reference, I got 3 wrong on math twice and got a 740 both times. Thus, you should be expecting around the lower end of your predicted range.

I felt too good taking the test. That is suspicious. Every test I take I come out thinking, "Damn, I could have done SO much better." Not this one. I'm going to keep my hopes down as low as they can go.

Indeed, the lit test sucked hardcore... I got a 700 the first time, but I doubt I broke 600 this time. The poetry always owns me. My AP Lit class hasn't started poetry yet...

Hoping for/Prediction

Writing: 800/740
U.S. History: 800/760
Literature: 740/620

Overall, I was very disappointed. This was my second time taking the SAT IIs, and I thought all of the tests were difficult. I'm terrible at the M.C. section on the writing test, and I never know more than half of the art questions on the US history test. I thought the lit test was hard last time, but at least i could somewhat predict my score. I ended up getting a 700. This time, I had to guess on so many of them that I honestly have no idea how I did.

The three wrong were all grid-ins, hence really more like three skipped...composite is nearly a 770, is it not?

why are yalls so negative all the time?? i'd be willing to bet half of you get higher scores than you predict. it seems like most people here are among the educated elite of sorts.... and if you thought it was hard, chances are it was too hard.

so dont worry. and chill out.

Because.. if you expect higher scores than you actually get.. it's somewhat painful, and you'll be a lot more nervous and frightened of the test..

For me..
Hopefully,
~750 math, ~650 verbal

Writing:hoping for 800, expect 700
Math IIC:hoping for 720, expect 610....

writing: 750
physics 750
math 2c 750

oh god, it was SOOO bad. I will nvr get into caltech with scores like that

Math: bad, but I got 780 first time so...
Verbal: This is the kicker. 710 first time, so I need to do better... hopefully 750 or somewhere around there.

I can feel that too. :(

sucharita....

writing: 750
physics 750
math 2c 750

you have got to be kidding me. those are not bad scores AT ALL! YOU WILL GO TO COLLEGE!

Sasquatch, you should have said that before! I would say 3 grid-ins wrong will indeed be somewhere around 740-760.

writing owned me pretty bad. i could usually get ~700s, but now im just hoping to break 600

what is a good score on the SATII writing test?

i need atleast 3 800's to compensate for my crappy xtracurriculars. Oh yeah im also an intl student so i xpect things 2 b even harder

I know I missed one (a really easy quantitive comparison) on the SAT I math
And I guarantee I missed about 10-12 if not a lot more on the verbal section.
Math 770-800
Verbal 650-700

Hopefullly!

SAT I
Math- 650-780
Verbal- 600-750

The math was super easy this time around, so that curve should be painful.
