Anyone go online to their score reports today and see that REALLY NASTY GRADING SCALE for the November SAT? I was like OMG!!!!!

I got -3 on the math section, which according to the Blue Book can be a 770, but the 'Curve of Pure and Everlasting Death' this SAT lowered it to a 720!!! I only got 3 wrong on the writing section w/ a perfect essay which would be a 800, but 780 on this test (still happy w/ it though). And critical reading...christ...According to the blue book my score could have been 740, but this test's curve lowered it to a 690!!!

Anyone else ****ed off at this Curve of Pure Death? Blegh.

I understand what you're talking about expecially the CR, but I doubt -3 on the math is a 770. I missed one and I got 780. Good Luck on your retake.

The most I've ever seen for -3 (or 51 raw) in Math was a 750 back in June 2007. No way it could've been a 770. The Blue book ranges are there for you to estimate your score. You will never get the upper end of the range on a real exam unless the upper range was an 800.
