Nova Southeastern Bs/Pa and bs/do

Hi everyone, this is my first post!

So I was wondering if anyone had been accepted into the NSU BS/ Pa or BS/Do programs. I realize that they are competitive to be matriculated into but do believe that I have a chance.
Here are SOME of my stats:

Current Rank: 13 out of 387
4 AP classes total
3.87 weighted GPA
First President of a county sponsored, Teen Representatives Group
Bilingual- fluent in Spanish, i'm a native
Internship at a Wound Healing Center, 100 hrs and worked as a "nurse" taking patient stats and cleaning/ preparing clinical rooms for patients

I want to become a PA when I grow up. Do you think I have a chance at these programs and which one would I be more competitive for.

I do not live in Florida- Out of State admissions fyi

Thx, Gracias and Mahalo everyone!

Good GPA and good clinical experience. Sounds like you would have a good chance. Have you had your interview yet?

Hi awillay! Did you get in?? I’m also interested in attending that program!

stephmd2014, well, I am still a junior so I will apply to college very soon. I’m thinking of just pursueing a DNP- same cost in money, same ammount of time in college and you will be called, “doctor”.

Having a fantastic rèsume is crucial- I was invited to join the NHS - prestigious!! It is excellent at establishing credibility which is a trait that you will need when competing for anything, especially something academic.

Join the NHS! I have many NHS friends who are seniors and about to graduate and they received great scholarships. Asja recieved a 50% tuition ride at NYU and Micheal $50K at UMBC.

That which builds credibility, builds opportunity.
