Well, you should visit them both and see which gives you a better feel. As a Villanova alumnus, I would have to think that nationally Tulane has had more "prestige" in the past, if that's important to you.

But I'm not sure that's still true. Villanova recently named to be one of the Top 25 "connected" campuses. So it's alumni network is very powerful. In addition, Tulane, like every institution in New Orleans took a ferocious battering in Katrina. I very much doubt the campus or the academic program have fully recovered.

Baseball? Basketball? Don't make the decision on those grounds. Figure out which place feels best for you.

i agree blaneyboy...Tulane is better!!

Nor was I, but that's not an excuse. Dont make assumptions or blanket statements. You dont even know about your own school's athletic programs...

thats because im too concerned with our academics and prestige...i really dont pay attention to lower ranked schools!!

You mean partying and elicit sex with underage boys? Alright.

yes tulane ranks as the smartest academic school with the most partying, it just shows how well we can manage to do both and keep up on things...remember villanova is the catholic school, not tulane!!!

I think Wisconsin holds that distinction.

i think tulane does...villanova holds the catholic, little boy distinction!!!

someone needs a life

metfan i agree 100%

I'm glad u agree 100%

thats what she said

yes i agree with you guys that tulane is much more nationally recognized, and regarded as incredibly prestigious.

And wrong you would be.

don't be mad because tulane's a better school, be mad because the united states thinks so.

according to whom?

Tulane is not, and will never be, an "incredibly prestigious," institution. Dont waste your time with this jayhawk guy. Both schoolsare good, the difference between the two is negligible.... go with the school that fits you best.

Well at a certain point I believe it was considered to be prestigious.
